This is a ship-borne automatic mini marine weather station, installed on ship decks to collect comprehensive marine meteorological

elements around the clock in unattended mode. It is applicable to scenarios such as ocean-going navigation safety, marine scientific

research, maritime waterway meteorological monitoring and offshore wind power operation & maintenance, and adapts to harsh

marine environments with heavy salt spray and vessel shaking.

1. Speed and Wind Direction Sensor

Structure & Working Principle

An integrated structure consisting of a top propeller and wind vane. The rotating propeller collects wind speed, while the tail

wind vane captures airflow direction. The shipborne version is built with a heading compensation algorithm to eliminate measurement

errors caused by vessel rolling, pitching and turning.

Functions

Real-time monitoring of instantaneous wind speed, average wind speed and wind direction at sea. It provides wind field data

for ship navigation, offshore operations and marine weather forecasting, and serves as core equipment for gale early warning

and shipping route safety assessment.

2. Visibility Sensor (Forward Scattering Type)

Structure & Working Principle

A tubular optical probe extending horizontally. It emits infrared light and detects the intensity of scattered light from water fog,

salt spray and raindrops in the air to convert the value into atmospheric optical visibility. The marine model is equipped with salt

spray resistance and automatic lens heating defogging functions.

Functions

Measure marine visibility distance and identify low-visibility weather such as fog, drizzle and heavy rain. It is essential for

guaranteeing ship navigation safety, maritime fog-sailing early warning and waterway traffic control.

3.Atmospheric Pressure Sensor

Structure & Working Principle

A high-precision pressure core integrated beside the small radiation shield, with sealed salt spray protection to collect sea-level

atmospheric pressure in real time.

Functions

Monitor variations in sea-level atmospheric pressure. A sharp pressure drop usually indicates incoming storms or cyclones.

It is a critical parameter for marine weather system analysis and early warning of typhoons and low-pressure systems.

4. Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Structure & Working Principle

Equipped with a multi-layer white louver radiation shield, with built-in temperature and humidity probes. The louver avoids

temperature interference from direct sunlight. The marine version has a heating unit to prevent condensation caused by heavy

salt fog from impairing measurement accuracy.

Functions

Measure near-sea-surface air temperature and relative humidity. Combined with atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity

data help judge sea fog and water vapor transport, and evaluate corrosive environmental conditions for deck equipment as well

as marine climate status.

5. Micro Weather Station (Data Acquisition Host)

Structure & Working Principle

A small control host mounted on the side of the pole, containing a data acquisition board, power supply module and communication

module (4G/Beidou). It uniformly receives signals from all sensors, then calculates, stores and uploads meteorological data.

Functions

The "brain" of the whole system: aggregates data of wind speed, visibility, atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity. It supports

local data storage and remote wireless data transmission, enabling real-time data viewing on ship terminals or cloud background

monitoring, with matched power supply to support long-term unattended marine observation.

All the above products come with class certification
