The HT/SLC9-2 direct-reading current meter is a water temperature measuring device manufactured by Qingdao Hangtai Automation Technology Co., Ltd. Adopting the Hall effect principle, this type of current meter measures flow velocity and direction by utilizing water flow to drive the rotation of a mechanical rotor or propeller. It is mainly suitable for shallow seas, estuaries and lakes, and can be used on ships, buoys and platforms to measure flow velocity and direction at different water depths. It can also use a float to drift the detector away from the hull to measure the velocity and direction of surface currents.
